A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF FENCE MASTERS,
INC. RECEIVED ON MAY 14, 1974 FOR FURNISHING
ALL LABOR AND MATERIALS TO ERECT MW RE+
LOCATE THE FENCE AT THE CITY'S AUTO POUND
LOCATED AT 1901 N. W. 14th AVENUE AT A TOTAL
COST OF $5,478.00; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DIVISION
TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR THE TOTAL
AMOUNT, AFTER FIRST HAVING DETERMINED THAT
FUNDS FOR THIS PURCHASE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, bids were received on May 14, 1974 for furnishing all labor
and materials to install a new fence and remove the old for use by the
Police Auto Pound; and
WHEREAS, bids were solicited from ten (10) potential suppliers and
three (3) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of Fence Masters,
Inc. which is the lowest and best bid, be accepted at a total cost of
$5,478.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CONNISSION OF THE CITY OF
NIAN[, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the May 14, 1974 bid of Fence Masters, Inc. be,
and the same is hereby accepted at a total cost of $5,478.00.
Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the Purchasing Division
to issue a Purchase Order for the total amount, after first having deter-
mined that funds for this purpose are available.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23 day of 4 , 1974.
