HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-08258ORDINANCE NO. 8258 AN ORDINANCE A ENDI vG ORDINANCE NO. t;183 SUBSECTIONS 2, 3 AND 8 OF SECTION 39-1 3 . 1 OF THE MIAMI CITY CODE GOLF COURSE SCHEDULE, CHANGING THE DATES OF THE WINTER AND SUMMER SCHEDULE AT THE GOLF COURSE. WHEREAS, Ordinance 6133, Section 39-13 .1 of the Miami City Cede, now provides in Subsections 2, 3 and 8, dates delinea- ting. the winter and summer schedule for golf course fees; and WHEREAS, the City golf course's revenue has b�k.n affected by daylight savings time and the energy crisis; and WHEREAS, the starting time at our golf courses must be consistent with other golf courses; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Sec. 39-13.1. Golf course green fees and at:.er rues and charges; "Subsection 2. The green fees established for residents and non-residents of the City for daily playing from December 1 in any year through April 30 of the following year inclusive shall be five dollars and fifty cents per person, and for the remainder of each and every year green fees shall be three dollars and fifty cents per person. Subsection 3. Twilight green fees (for play com- mencing after 3:30 P.M.) for the period beginning December 1 of any one year through April 30 of the following year shall be three dollars for residents and non-residents of the City. Twilight green fees (for play commencing after 3:00 P.M.) for the period beginning May 1 through November 30 inclusive shall be two dollars for residents and non- residents of the City. Subsection 8. Hand cart rental fees shall be seventy- five cents per round; City -owned electric carts shall be three dollars and seventy- five cents for nine holes or seven dollars and fifty cents for eighteen holes from December 1 of each year to April 30 of the following year, inclusive; and from May 1 through through November 30 the rate will be two dollars and seventy- five cents for nine holes and five dollars and fifty cents for eighteen holes.
