A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE STAFF OF
THE AREAWIDE AGENCY ON AGING TO ASSIST
THE APPROPRIATE OFFICIALS OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI IN SCREENING APPLICANTS FOR
A STAPP PERSON TO ASSUME RESPONSIBILITY
FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF THE PROJECT OF
DAY CARE FOR THE ELDERLY.
WHEREAS, the Area -Wide Agency on Aging has developed
an expertise on the problems associated with day care centers
for the elderly; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami wishes to select the
person who will best be able to assume responsibility for
organizing the project on Day Care for the elderly;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The staff of the Area -Wide Agency on
Aging is hereby requested to assist the appropriate officials
of the City of Miami in screening applicants for a staff person
to assume responsibility for the organization of the project
of Day Care for the elderly.
