A RESOLUTION OP THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OP MIAMI ENDORSING THE USE OF THE
PROPERTY UNDER I.,95 IN BLOCKS 28S AND
37S, MIAMI (13.41), UNDER THE JURISDIC-
TION OP THE STATE DEPARTMENT OP TRANS-
PORTATION AS A PLAYGROUND FOR CHILDREN
ENROLLED IN THE SUMMER ACTIVITIES
PROGRAM OF CENTRO MATER.
WHEREAS, Centro Mater has gained wide recognition in
the community for providing a wholesome, healthy and educational
atmosphere for the City's youth; and
WHEREAS, Centro Mater wishes to expand its summer
program to meet increasing demands; and
WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami recognizes
the needs of the City's youth and the valuable services provided
by Centro Mater;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Commission hereby endorses the
use of the property under I-95 in Blocks 28S and 37S, Miami
(B-41), under the jurisdiction of the State Department of
Transportation as a playground for children enrolled in the
summer activities program of Centro Mater.
