OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION TO INVESTIGATE

WHEREAS, there might have been possible abuses in the
past concerning the granting of disability pensions to City
employees; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami pension system is facing
serious financial problems in the coming years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Vice -Mayor Reboso and Commissioner
Plummer are hereby designated as a committee of the Miami City
Commission to investigate the matter of the two-thirds disability
