A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF CENTER
PRINTING CO . , I NC . FOR FURNISHING ALL
LABOR AND MATERIAL FOR THE PRINTING OF oto,
2,500 SETS OF ZONING ORDINANCES FOR USES,,
BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT, AT A TOTAL 6,,
COST OF $3,175.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING ,, 4
DIVISION TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER, .'
AFTER FIRST HAVING DETERMINED THAT FUNDS%
BUDGETED FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received April 3, 1974 for furnishing all labor and material for
the printing of 2,500 sets of Zoning Ordinances for use by the
Planning Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to sixteen (16) potential
suppliers and three (3) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Center Printing Co., Inc. be accepted at a total cost of $3,175.00
since it is the lowest and best responsive bid and further re-
commends that the award be made to said corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on April 3, 1974 from
Center Printing Co., Inc. for furnishing all labor and material for
the printing of 2,500 sets of Zoning Ordinances for use by the
Planning Department at a total cost of $3,175.00 be, and the same
is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager be authorized to in-
struct the Purchasing Division to issue a purchase order, after
first having determined that funds budgeted for this purpose are
available.
