HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-082531 -4 2 4 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 ORDINANCE NO. 80 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI, BY ADDING A NEW SUB -PARAGRAPH (1) TO PARAGRAPH (6) , SECTION 1, ARTICLE V, TO PERMIT AS A CONDITIONAL USE, HOME OCCUPATIONS EMPLOYING NOT MORE THAN ONE (1) PERSON OTHER THAN THE OCCUPANT OF THE DWELLING UNIT; REQUIRING APPROPRIATE ON SITE PARKING FOR BOTH THE OCCUPANTS OF THE STRUCTURE AND THE SAID EMPLOYEE IN ADDITION TO MEETING THE OTHER REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH IN SECTION 1 (8) OF THIS ARTICLE; AND BY REPEALING ALL LAWS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its meeting held on February 20, 1974, passed and adopted by a 4 to 3 vote its Resolution No. PAB 6-74 recommending denial for an amendment to Ordinance No. 6871, as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable and in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to change certain Sections of the City of Miami Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 6871 set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, be and the same is hereby amended by adding a new sub -paragraph (1) to paragraph (6), Section 1, ARTICLE V, as follows: (1) Home occupations employing not more than one (1) person other than the occupant of the dwelling unit. In addition to meeting the other requirements set forth in Section 1 (8) of this ARTICLE, appropriate parking shall be provided on site for both the occupants of the structure and the said employee. Section 2. That all laws, or parts of laws, in conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby.repaa.]. d. i. $ofar as they are in conflict. `` ~ ~ ~ i ' 3 4 Section 3.
