A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE tSSUANCB OF A PERMIT TO
THE MIAMI NORTHWESTERN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI CLASS
OF 64 FOR AMMSEMENT RIDES ON THE OLD SHELL CITY SITE
AT N. W. 58TH STREET AND 7TH AVENUE, FOR SIX DAYS
DURING THE EARLY PART OF MAY, 1974, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That a permit be, and it is hereby, authorized to be
issued to the Miami Northwestern Senior High School Alumni Class of 64
for amusement rides on the old Shell City site at N. W. 58th Street and
7th Avenue, for six days during the early part of May, 1974, subject to
the following terms and conditions:
1. Such use shall not be established for a period
exceeding six days, nor shall any one location be used
more often than once a year.
2. No alcoholic beverages may be served on the carnival
site.
3. The operators of the amusement rides shall obtain
the necessary licenses, permits and Certificate of Use.
4. Small tents are permitted only for ride activities.
5. No gambling booths or games of chance are permitted
in conjunction with carnivals.
6. The operators of the amusement rides will provide
sanitary facilities for both male and female patrons.
7. The operators and employees of the rides will not
domicile on the property.
8. The City of Miami Police Department will be contacted
and the number of off -duty policemen that the Department feels
are necessary to direct traffic and provide for security will be
employed..
