A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID FOR
FURNISHING THREE (3) LO-BOY TRACTORS
FOR USE BY THE PARRS DIVISION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI PARKS AND RECREATION DE-
PARTMENT TO MEDCO INTERNATIONAL TRACTOR
CO., INC. AT A TOTAL COST OF $7,575.00;
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DIVISION TO
ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS, AS NECESSARY,
AFTER FIRST HAVING DETERMINED THAT FUNDS
BUDGETED FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received April 1, 1974 for furnishing three (3) Lo-Boy tractors
for use by the Parks Division of the Parks and Recreation Depart-
ment; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to thirteen (13) poten-
tial suppliers and two (2) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Medco International Tractor Co., Inc. for furnishing three (3)
Lo-Boy tractors for use by the Parks Division of the Parks and
Recreation Department of the City of Miami be accepted at a total
cost of $7,575.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on April 1, 1974 for
furnishing three (3) Lo-Boy tractors for use by the Parks Division
of the Parks and Recreation Department at a total cost of
$7,575.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the Purchasing
Division to issue purchase orders, as necessary, after first having
determined that funds budgeted for thispurposepurpose are available.
