A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF M. H.
DETRICK COMPANY RECEIVED ON MARCH 26,
1974 FOR FURNISHING HANGING TILES FOR
USE BY THE INCINERATOR DIVISION OF THE
SANITATION DEPARTMENT AT A TOTAL COST
OF $5,602.00; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING
DIVISION TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR
THE TOTAL AMOUNT, AFTER FIRST HAVING
DETERMINED THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS
PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were received
March 26, 1974 for furnishing hanging tiles for use by the Incinera-
tor Division of the Sanitation Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to thirteen (13) potential
suppliers and two (2) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of M. H.
Detrick Company, which is the lowest and best bid, be accepted at
a total cost of $5,602.00;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the March 26, 1974 bid of M. H. Detrick
Company be, and the same is hereby accepted at a total cost of
$5,602.00.
Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the Purchasing
Division to issue a Purchase Order for the total amount, after
first having determined that funds budgeted for this purpose are
available.
