A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF MOTOROLA
C & E, INC. RECEIVED ON MARCH 28, 1974 FOR
FURNISHING ONE (1) SERVICE MONITOR FOR USE
BY THE COMMUNICATIONS DEPARTMENT AT A COST
OF $3,950.00: AFTER FIRST HAVING DETERMINED
THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE
AVAILABLE.

WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were
received March 28, 1974 for furnishing one (1) Service Monitor
for use by the Communications Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to four (4) potential
suppliers and three (3) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Motorola C & E, Inc. which is the lowest and best bid be
accepted at a total cost of $3,950.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the March 28, 1974 bid of Motorola
C & E, Inc., be, and the same is hereby accepted at a total
cost of $3,950.00.
Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the
Purchasing Division to issue a Purchase Order for the total
amount, after first having determined that funds budgeted for
this purpose are available.
