RESOLUTION No. 7 ' 0201.
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE`. YEAR EXTENSION
OF EMPLOYMENT PAST THE AGE OF SEVENTY (70)
FOR HOZIE RUSSELL, GROUNDSMAN, PARKS DIVISION,
PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT, EFFECTIVE
APRIL 15, 1974 TO APRIL 15, 1975, WITH THE
PROVISION THAT IN THE EVENT OF A ROLLBACK OR
LAYOFF, HOZIE RUSSELL, RATHER THAN A JUNIOR
EMPLOYEE, WOULD BE AFFECTED.
WHEREAS, the Executive Secretary, Civil Service Board
has recommended an extension of employment past the age of
seventy (70) for Hozie Russell, Groundsman, Parks Division,
Parks and Recreation Department, effective April 15, 1974 to
April 15, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the City Physician has determined that the
physical condition of said Hozie Russell is satisfactory for
continued employment; and
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board has unanimously re-
commended the approval of employment past the age of seventy
(70) for said Hozie Russell for one additional year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A one year extension of employment past the
age of seventy (70) for Hozie Russell, Groundsman, Parks Division,
Parks and Recreation Department, effective April 15, 1974 to
April 15, 1975, is hereby approved, with the provision that in
the event of a rollback or layoff, Hozie Russell, rather than
