A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
PERFORMED BY BEN HURWITZ, INC., AT A TOTAL
COST OF $30, 500, FOR THE DOWNTOWN GOVERNMENT
CENTER - BUILDINGS DEMOLITION - 1973 - PHASE
II; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PROPER OFFICIALS TO MAKE A FINAL
PAYMENT OF $3,050 TO BEN HURWITZ, INC. FOR
THE DOWNTOWN GOVERNMENT CENTER - BUILDINGS
DEMOLITION - 1973 - PHASE II, AFTER FIRST
HAVING DETERMINED THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR
THIS PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated January 29, 1973
between the City of Miami and Ben Hurwitz, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Contractor has completed all work that can
be completed and has furnished the required documents certifying
that all bills for labor, materials, etc., have been paid in full
in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends that
the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the
Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. To accept the completed work performed by
Ben Hurwitz, Inc. for the DOWNTOWN GOVERNMENT CENTER - BUILDINGS
DEMOLITION - 1973 - PHASE II at a total cost of $30,500.
Section 2. That the City Manager is authorized and the
proper officials of the City of Miami are instructed to pay
Ben Hurwitz, Inc. a balance of $3,050 as full and final payment
