RESOLUTION NO. " $2 dams
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THS COMPLETED
WORK PERFORMED BY BIG CHIEF, INC.,
AT A 'TOTAL COST OF $19 , 490 AND AUTHORIZ-
ING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $1,949 FOR THE
COCONUT GROVE INCINERATOR DEMOLITION &
SALVAGE - 1974, AFTER FIRST HAVING
DETERMINED THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS
PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated March 15, 1974
between the City of Miami and Big Chief, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed and
Big Chief, Inc. has furnished the required documents certifying
that all bills for labor, materials, etc., have been paid in full
in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends that
the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the
Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the completed work performed by Big
Chief, Inc. for the COCONUT GROVE INCINERATOR - DEMOLITION & SALVAGE
1974 at a total cost of $19,490 be accepted.
Section 2. That the proper officials of the City of
Miami be authorized and directed to pay Big Chief, Inc. a balance
of $1,949 as full and final payment for all work performed and all
materials furnished in connection with the COCONUT GROVE INCINERATOR
1974, after first having determined that funds budgeted for this
purpose are available.
