A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED
CONSTRUCTION OF MARKS BROTHERS COMPANY
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF VIRGINIA GROVE
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4358 AT
A TOTAL COST OF $94,272.23, AND AUTHORIZ-
ING A FINAL PAYMENT OP $30,570.55, AFTER
FIRST HAVING DETERMINED THAT FUNDS BUDGETED
FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.

WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated August 8, 1973
between the City of Miami and Marks Brothers Company for the
construction of VIRGINIA GROVE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4358; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed
and Marks Brothers Company has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor, materials, etc., have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held before the City
Commission on April 25, 1974 to hear any objections to the com-
pleted improvements and no objections were sustained; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works recommends that
the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the
Contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the completed work performed by Marks
Brothers Company under contract dated August 8, 1973 for the con-
struction of VIRGINIA GROVE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT H-4358 in VIRGINIA
GROVE HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT H-4358 be accepted at a total
cost of $94,272.23.
Section 2. That the proper officials of the City of Miami
be authorized and directed to pay Marks Brothers Company a balance
of $30,570.55 as full and final payment for all work performed
