A RESOLUTION URGING THE HOUSE TO VOTE
FAVORABLY ON HB 2257 WHEREIN PROPERTY
LOCATED IN MUNICIPALITIES SHALL NOT BE
TAXED BY THE COUNTY TO SUPPORT SERVICES
RENDERED OUTSIDE THE MUNICIPALITY; FUR-
THER DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO SEND A
TELEGRAM.` TO THE CHAIRMAN OF THE FINANCE
AND TAXATION COMMITTEE AND TO SEND A
COPY OF THIS RESOLUTION TO ALL OF THE
MEMBERS OF THEIR COMMITTEE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Miami City Commission urges
the House to vote favorably on HB 2257 wherein property located
in municipalities shall not be taxed by the County to support
services rendered outside the municipality.
Section 2. That the City Clerk of the City of Miami
is directed to send telegram, to the Chairman of the Finance
and Taxation Committee and to send a copy of this Resolution
to all of the members of their committee.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 25th day of April, 1974.
