Amendment to Agreement
This Project Agreement made and entered into this
day of , 1992, by and between the State of Florida,
Department of Natural Resources, hereinafter called the
DEPARTMENT, and the City of Miami, hereinafter called the
GRANTEE, in furtherance of an approved outdoor recreation project
known as Antonio Maceo Park (LLI Project No. F88-050/F89-058/F90-
073), hereinafter referred to as the PROJECT.
WHEREAS, DEPARTMENT and GRANTEE entered into an agreement
dated January 27, 1989, as amended June 26, 1992, December 26,
1991, April 2, 1991, December 28, 1990, September 24, 1990, and
May 29, 1990, hereinafter referred to as the "Project Agreement",
and
WHEREAS, the DEPARTMENT and GRANTEE verbally agreed that the
date for completion of the project would be extended to
September 30, 1993, and
WHEREAS, the amendment to change the project completion date
was not reduced to writing during the Project Agreement period;
NOW THEREFORE, DEPARTMENT and GRANTEE hereby agree that the terms
and conditions of the Project Agreement are made a part of this
Agreement by reference as though stated' in their entirety herein,
except that Paragraph (1)(D) of exhibit A shall be amended as

follows: The Grantee shall complete all grant related
development on or before September 30, 1993. Failure of Grantee
to.complete the project by the aforementioned date, unless
extended by the Department because of extenuating circumstances,
may be cause for the Department to request return of the balance
of the grant funds advanced, plus earned interest. Any
unexpended funds at project completion shall be returned to the
Department.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have duly executed
this agreement on the day and year first above written.
