A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED ON
MARCH 4, 1974 FROM WENGER CORPORATION IN
THE AMOUNT OF $21,421.00, FOR FURNISHING
ONE (1) 32' SNOWMOBILE FOR USE BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received on March 4, 1974 for furnishing the Department of
Parks and Recreation one (1) 32' Showmobile; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to five (5) potential
suppliers and one (1) bid was received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Wenger Corporation in the amount of $21,421.00 be accepted since
it is the lowest and best responsive bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on March 4, 1974 of
Wenger Corporation for furnishing one (1) 32' Showmobile for
use by the Department of Parks and Recreation at a total cost of
$21,421.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the Purchasing
Division to issue a Purchase Order, as necessary, after first
having determined that funds budgeted for this purpose are available.
