A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
FEBRUARY 15, 1974 FOR URNI SHI NG 67,000
PERMIT APPLICATIONS FOR USE BY THE BUILDING
DEPARTMENT FROM AUTOMATED BUSINESS CONTROLS,
I NC . AT A TOTAL COST OP $2,045.96 AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE
PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER
FOR THE INITIAL AMOUNT.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were
received February 15, 1974 for furnishing Sixty -Seven Thousand
(67,000) Permit Applications for use by the Building Department;
and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to fifteen (15)
potential suppliers and seven (7) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Automated Business Controls, Inc. be accepted for use by the
Building Department, at a total cost of $2,045.96 be accepted
since it is the lowest and best responsive bid and further
recommends that the award be made to said corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on February 15, 1974
of Automated Business Controls, Inc. for furnishing 67,00 Permit
Applications
at a total cost of $2,045.96 be, and the same is
hereby accepted, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
instruct the Purchasing Division to issue a Purchase Order for
the initial amount of $2,045.96.
