RESOLUTION No. 74" ?'0""r A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID RECEIVED MARCH 20, 1974 OF JOE REINERTSON EQUIPMENT COMPANY IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $214,800 FOR SOUTHERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-31; ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $214,800 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "STORM SEWER BOND FUND" TO COVER THE ESTIMATED CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $21,480 TO COVER THE OST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID hCCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $4,295 TO COVER THE COST OF INCIDENTAL EXPENSE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. WHEREAS, bids were received March 20, 1974 for the construc- tion of SOUTHERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-31; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $214,800 bid of Joe Reinertson Equipment Company is the lowest bid (acceptable) and recommends that a Contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund" for the estimated amount of the Contract, for Project Expense; and for Incidental Expense; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the March 20, 1974 bid of Joe Reinertson Equipment Company in the estimated amount of $214,800 for the project entitled SOUTHERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-31, namely Alternate Base Bid of Proposal, based on Unit Prices be, and the same is hereby accepted at the prices stated therein. Section 2. That the amount of $214,800 be, and it is hereby allocated from the account entitled "Storm Sewer Bond Fund" to cover the estimated cost of the Contract. Section 3. That the amount of $21,480 be, and it is hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of Project Expense which includes engineering, surveys, and inspection work performed by City Forces. Section 4. That the amount of $4,295 be, and it is hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the cost of Inci- dental Expense which includes but is not limited to such items as advertising, testing laboratories, postage, printing and blueprinting by City Forces or outside vendor. Section 5. That the City Manager be, and is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of the City of Miami with Joe Reinertson Equipment Co. for the construction of SOUTHERN DRAINAGE PROJECT E-31.
