A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID Off" HOLLAND
PAVING CO., INC. IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF
$620,552 POR TRACY SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT
SR-5275 C (CENTERLINE SEWER) AND SR-5275 S
(SIDELINE SEWER); ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OP
$620,552 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "SANITARY
SEWER BOND FUND" TO COVER THE ESTIMATED
CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT
THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $42,055 TO COVER THE
COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID
ACCOUNT THE ADDITIONAL AMOUNT OF $7,411 TO
COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING,
TESTING LABORATORIES, POSTAGE, PRINTING,
BLUEPRINTING, ETC., BY CITY FORCES OR OUTSIDE
VENDORS; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM.

WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on February 28, 1974
for TRACY SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5275 C (centerline
sewer) and SR-5275 S (sideline sewer); and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $620,552 bid of
Holland Paving Co., Inc. is the lowest bid (acceptable) and
recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account
entitled "Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund" for the estimated amount of
the Contract, for Project Expense; and for Incidental Expense;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the February 28, 1974 bid of Holland Paving
Co., Inc. in the estimated amount of $620,552 for the project
entitled TRACY SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT SR-5275 C (centerline
sewer) and SR-5275 S (sideline sewer) in TRACY SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5275 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5275 S
(sideline sewer), namely Items 1 through 66 of the Proposal,
based on unit prices be, and the same is hereby accepted at the
price stated therein.

Section 2. That the amount of $620,552 be, and it is
hereby allocated from the account entitled "Sanitary Sewer Bond
Fund" to cover the estimated cost of the Contract.
Section 3. That the additional amount of $42, 055 be, and
it is hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of Project Expense which includes engineering, surveys and
inspection work performed by City Forces.
Section 4. That the additional amount of $7,411 be, and
it is hereby allocated from the aforesaid account to cover the
cost of such items as advertising, testing laboratories, postage,
printing, blueprinting, etc., by City Forces or outside vendors.
Section 5. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby
authorized to enter into a Contract on behalf of the City of
Miami with Holland Paving Co., Inc. for TRACY SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT SR-5275 C (centerline sewer) and SR-5275 S (sideline
sewer) in TRACY SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SR-5275 C
and SR-5275 S.
