"` 46, A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE BID OF AMERICAN DAVITS CORPORATION IN THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF $7,421 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MARINE STADIUM BOAT PIT - FENDER SYSTEM - 1974: ALLOCATING THE AMOUNT OF $7,421 FROM THE ACCOUNT ENTITLED "CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND - UNALLOCATED FUNDS" TO COVER THE ESTIMATED CONTRACT COST: ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $742 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE: ALLOCATING FROM SAID ACCOUNT THE AMOUNT OF $222 TO COVER THE COST OF INCIDENTAL EXPENSE: AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM. WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were received on March 20, 1974 for the construction of MARINE STADIUM BOAT PIT - FENDER SYSTEM - 1974; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the $7,421 bid of American Davits Corporation is the lowest bid (acceptable) and recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds are available for allocation from the account entitled "Capital Improvement Fund - Unallocated Funds" for the estimated amount of the contract, for Project Expense; and for Incidental Expense; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the April 11, 1974 bid of American Davits Corporation in the estimated amount of $7,421 for 'tile construction of the Marine Stadium Boat Pit - Fender System - 1974; be and the same is hereby accepted. Section 2. That the amount of $7,421 be and it is hereby allocated from the account entitled "Capital Improvement Fund - Unallocated Funds" to cover the estimated contract cost; "DOCUMENT INDEX ITEM NO. / 1 C1T`f COMMM55,;DN • A7-R 1974 fit allocating from said account the amount of $742 to cover the cost of project expense; allocating from said account the amount of $222 to cover the cost of incidental expense Section 3.
