A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OP
ALICE C. WAINWRIGHT AS MEMBER OP THE WAIN-,
WRIGHT PARK`LOWER BRICKELL AVENUE COMMITTEE.
WHEREAS, a Resolution setting up the present committee
consisting of Mr. Michael Calhoun, Mrs. Norton McKenzie and
Mrs. Sidney Weintraub, was passed and adopted January 9, 1969 as
Resolution No. 40283; and
WHEREAS, the current members of the Wainwright Park -
Lower Brickell Avenue Committee have asked that Mrs. Wainwright
be appointed a member of the Committee; and
WHEREAS, there are problems relating to thepublic and
the people in the neighborhood of the park which she could bring
her experience and prestige to bear in the solutions; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Wainwright has indicated she would be glad
to serve on the Wainwright Park - Lower Brickell Avenue Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Commission appoint ALICE C.
WAINWRIGHT a member of THE WAINWRIGHT PARK - LOWER BRICKELL AVENUE
COMMITTEE
