A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY ATTORNEY TO BRING AN ACTION TO QUIET
THE TITLE TO ALL OF NORTH BAYSHORE DRIVE AS
IT LIES ADJACENT TO BISCAYNE BAY AS SHOWN ON
THE MAP SUBMITTED PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 29965,
LAWS OF FLORIDA, ACTS OF 1955, AND RESOLUTION
NO. 32720 DATED APRIL 19, 1961 OF THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND RECORDED
IN PLAT BOOK 72 AT PAGE 75 OF THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has paved and maintained
North Bayshore Drive for many years; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has complied with the
Laws of Florida as they relate to the dedication of public streets
and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney recommends that the City
quiet title to North Bayshore Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Commission finds that it is in the best
interests of the City of Miami and the public to quiet the
title to North Bayshore Drive in the City of Miami;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Attorney be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to bring an action to quiet
the title to all of North Bayshore Drive as it lies adjacent
to Biscayne Bay as shown on the map submitted pursuant to
Chapter 29965, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1955, and Resolution
No. 32720 dated April 19, 1961 of the City Commission of the
City of Miami and recorded in Plat Book 72 at Page 75 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
