ADDENDUM TO LEASE AGREEMENT
THIS ADDENDUM, made this / 7 day of I%/__,_� , 1993, to
the Lease Agreement (the "Lease") dated June 27, 491, by and
between the City of Miami, a municipal corporation of the State
of Florida (the "CITY") and the Bayview Associates, Inc., a
Florida corporation ("LANDLORD").
RECITAL
WHEREAS, LANDLORD and CITY entered into the Lease; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City Commission Resolution No. 9?j--%,
the City Manager has been authorized to lease additional space in
the Building not to exceed 10,000 square feet for the purpose of
housing its Hurricane Recovery Task Force; and
WHEREAS, the LANDLORD wishes to lease such additional space
to the CITY under the same terms and conditions as set forth in
the Lease; except for those terms and conditions specifically
delineated herein;
NOW, THEREFORE, for Ten Dollars ($10.00) and other good and
valuable consideration, receipt and adequacy of which is hereby
acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows:
I.
In consideration of the rents, covenants and agreements
hereinafter reserved and contained and the applicable agreements
contained in the Lease, the LANDLORD hereby leases to the CITY a
total of 5112 square feet located on the fifth floor of the
Building (the "New Premises").
II.
TERM
The New Premises are leased to. the CITY for a term of three
(3) years commencing on January 27 , 1993. No renewal
options, including those set forthin the Lease, are applicable
hereto.
RENTAL
The CITY shall pay the LANDLORD rent at the rate of Eleven
Dollars ($11.00) per square foot during the term of this
Addendum.
IV.
CAPITALIZED TERMS
All capitalized terms contained herein, unless otherwise
defined in this Addendum, shall be ascribed the meaning contained
in the Lease.
V.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A11 other terms and condition of the Lease not in conflict
with those delineated herein, shall be applicable to this
Addendum and shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
and delivered by their respective officers as duly authorized on
the date first above written.

AND BAYVIEW ASSOCIATES, INC. FOR THE PURPOSE
OP :LEASING ADDITIONAL SQUARE FOOTAGE OF
OFFICE' SPACE, NOT TO - EXCEED' 10,000 SQUARE
FEET,: FOR A MAXIMUM TERM OF THREE YEAPS:AT A
RATE NOT TO EXCEED $ 11.00 PER 'SQUARE : FOOT,
SAID SPACE TO BE USED BY THE CITY's HURRICANE
RECOVERY' TASK FORCE, WITH ALL RENTAL `COSTS TO
BE .REIMBURSED TO THE CITY BY THE FEDERAL
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY ("FEMA").
WHEREAS;.the City of Miami's Hurricane Recovery Task Fore°
is in need of space at a Central location from- which it may
operate; and
WHEREAS, .the City Commission has determined that necessary
space should be Obtained at the site where most of the City's
offices are now oonsolidated; and
WHEREAS,:'a11 rental costs have been determined, by the
administration to be reimbursable to the City by the Federal
Emergetoy Management Agency; .
.NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OP MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the
Preamble to this Resolution are hereby adopted by reference
thereto and -incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this
