A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER. TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS WITH
THE SOUTHEAST t'LORIDA INSTITUTE or CRIMINAL
JUSTICE, MIAM.I.=DADS COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR
SERVICES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI PERSONNEL TO
PERI.ORM DUTIES IN CONNECTION WITH THE INSTI-
TUTES bLICE TRAINING PROGRAMS FOIL WHICH
THE CITY OF MIAMI WILL BE COMPENSATED AS SER
FORTH IN THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has furnished personnel for duties
in the Southeast Florida Institute of Criminal Justice, Miami -Dade Community
College without cost to the College; and
WHEREAS, the College now desires to augument the permanent
Institute administrative staff with the expertise of the professionally trained
Police Officer from local municipalities to participate in the administration of
the Police Training Program; and
WHEREAS, the College agrees to compensate the City for the ser-
vices of individuals furnished under the terms of these agreements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to enter into agreements with the Southeast Florida Institute of Crimi-
nal Justice, Miami -Dade Community College for services of the City of Miami
personnel to perform duties in connection with the Institute for which the City
of Miami will be compensated as set forth in the terms of the agreements.
