A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
ON MARCH 6, 1974 FROM GRAYBAR ELECTRIC
COMPANY 3N THE AMOUNT OF $2,364.73, FOR
FURNISHING COVE LIGHTING, TO BE USED BY
THE DEPARTMENT OP PUBLIC WORKS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received on March 6, 1974 for furnishing the Department of
Public Works with Cove Lighting, to be used in the alterations
and remodeling of the first floor of the Public Works Building;
and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to eight (8) potential
suppliers and three (3) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Graybar Electric Company in the amount of $2,364.73 be accepted,
since it is the lowest and best responsive bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on March 6, 1974
of Graybar Electric Company for furnishing Cove Lighting for
use by the Public Works Building, at a total cost of $2,364.73
be, and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the
Purchasing Division to issue Purchase Orders as necessary,
after first having determined that funds budgeted for this
purpose are available.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28 day of MARCH , 1974.
