A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING TIHE ACTION TAkEN BY THE CITY MANAGER UNDER MOTION 74-75 WHICH AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED THE RECEIPT OF BIDS AND PURCHASE OF AN OLDSMOBILE "98" SEDAN TO BE USED BY THE MAYOR, SAID LOW BID BEING SUBMITTED BY CRIPPEN OLDSMOBILE, INC. WHEREAS, bids were received on February 19, 1974, for furnishing one (1) 1974 Oldsmobile, 4-door Sedan, for use by the Mayor; and WHEREAS, in accordance with a motion passed by the City Commission at its meeting on January 24, 1974, the City Manager was authorized to purchase an automobile for use by the Mayor; and WHEREAS, the bid of Crippen Oldsmobile for the purchase of an Oldsmobile "98" Sedan was the lowest acceptable bid; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COM- MISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI: Section 1. The action of the City Manager taken under authority of Motion 74-75, authorizing and directing the receipt of bids and purchase of an Oldsmobile "98" Sedan to be used by the Mayor is hereby confirmed. Section 2. The award of the low bid to Crippen Oldsmobile, Inc. is hereby confirmed. PASS AND ADOPTED this 28 day of MARCH 1974.
