RESOLUTION NO.74 "2 38.
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A 50% REDUCTION IN
THE RENTAL FEES FOR THE USE OF THE BAYFRONT
PARK AUDITORIUM BY THE DADE COUNTY SCHOOLS'
MUSIC DEPARTMENT FOR MUSIC EVALUATION
FESTIVALS ON APRIL 22-23, 1974; MAY 15-16,
1974; AND MAY 20-23, 1974 INCLUSIVE.
WHEREAS, the Dade County Schools' Music Festival
programs have been held in Bayfront Park Auditorium for the past
fifteen years; and
WHEREAS, commencing in 1971 the City of Miami Commission
granted a 50% reduction in the rental fees for the Music Depart-
ment of the Dade County School System; and
WHEREAS, the Lessee assumes financial responsibility for
the payment of all additional charges, as required, for the
presentation of this event;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That a 50% reduction in the rental fees
for the use of Bayfront Park Auditorium by the Dade County Schools'
Music Department, for the purpose of holding Music Festival
programs on April 22-23, 1974; May 15-16, 1974; and May 20-23,
1974 inclusive, be and is hereby approved.
