RESOLUTION NO. 74-25 _
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A ONE-YEAR EX-
TENSION OF EMPLOYMENT PAST THE AGE OF
70 FOR JUAN PEREZ, CUSTODIAN II,
STADIUMS DIVISION, DEPARTMENT OF PARKS
AND RECREATION, EFFECTIVE MARCH 8, 1974
TO MARCH 8, 1975, WITH THE PROVISION
THAT IN THE EVENT OF A ROLLBACK OR LAY-
OFF, MR. PEREZ, RATHER THAN A JUNIOR
EMPLOYEE, WOULD BE AFFECTED.
WHEREAS, the Director, Department of Parks and Recreation,
has recommended an extension of employment past the age of 70 for
Juan Perez, Custodian II, Stadiums Division, Department of Parks
and Recreation, effective March 8, 1974 to March 8, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the City Physician has determined that the
physical condition of said Juan Perez is satisfactory for con-
tinued employment; and
WHEREAS, the Civil Service Board has unanimously
recommended the approval of employment past the age of 70 for
said Juan Perez for an additional one (1) year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A one-year extension of employment past the
age of 70 for Juan Perez, Custodian II, Stadiums Division, Depart-
rent of Parks and Recreation, effective March 8, 1974 to March 8,
1975, is hereby approved, with the provision that in the event of
a rollback or layoff, Mr. Perez, rather than a junior employee,
would be affected.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28 day of MARCH , 1974.
