A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO MRS. JOSEPHINE SAUER
WITHOUT THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE
SUM OF $78.00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLE-
MENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST
THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF
A RELEASE RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM
ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, MRS. JOSEPHINE SAUER, a widow, filed a claim
against the City of Miami for damage incurred in the amount of
$78.00 for plumber service allegedly caused by several blockages
of a City sewer, servingnhekehome at 700 North East 80th Street,
in the City of Miami, during a period ending on December 31, 1973;
and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office of
the City Attorney and said office recommends that this claim be
settled for the sum of $78.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is here-
by authorized to pay to MRS. JOSEPHINE SAUER, without the admission
of liability, the sum of $78.00 in full and complete settlement of
all -claims and demands.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28n day of MARCH , 1974.
