A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO JOSEPHINE DUNN WITHOUT
THE ADMISSION OF LIABILITY, THE SLIM OF
$4,00 IN FULL AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OF
ALL CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY
OF MIAMI, UPON THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE
RELEASING THE CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL
CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.
WHEREAS, JOSEPHINE DUNN filed a claim against the City of
Miami for damage incurred in the amount of $4.00 through loss of
a new garbage container from her home at 3300 South West 27th
Terrace, in the City of Miami, allegedly during activity by City
Sanitation Workers; on January 10,1974; and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office of
the City Attorney and said office recommends that this claim be
settled for the sum of $4.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to JOSEPHINE DUNN without the admission
of liability, the sum of $4.00 in full and complete settlement
of all claims and demands against the City of Miami, upon the
execution of a release releasing the City of Miami from all claims
and demands.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28 day of MARCH , 1974.
