A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF
FINANCE TO PAY TO MIAMI WHOLESALE FURNI-
TURE, INCORPORATED WITHOUT THE ADMISSION
OF LIABILITY, THE SUM OF $263.63 IN FULL
AND COMPLETE SETTLEMENT OF ALL CLAIMS AND
DEMANDS AGAINST THE CITY OF MIAMI, UPON
THE EXECUTION OF A RELEASE RELEASING THE
CITY OF MIAMI FROM ALL !CLAIMS AND DEMANDS,
WHEREAS, MIAMI WHOLESALE FURNITURE, INCORPORATED, a
Florida Corporation, filed a claim against the City of Miami
for damage incurred in the amount of $263.63 on January 7, 1974,
due to furniture being damaged in the warehouse at 60 North West
6th Street, in the City of Miami, during activity by City Firemen;
and
WHEREAS, this claim has been investigated by the office of
the City Attorney and said office recommends that this claim be
settled for the sum of $263.63.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is
hereby authorized to pay to MIAMI WHOLESALE FURNITURE, INCOR-
PORATED, without the admission of liability, the sum of $263.63
in full and complete settlement of all claims and demands against
the City of Miami, upon the execution of a release releasing the
City of Miami from all claims and demands.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28 day of MARCH , 1974.
