A RESOLUTION STATING THE FINDINGS OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI THAT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OP THE EMPLOYMENT OF N. L. REESE AS CITY MANAGER INCLUDED A VACATION PERIOD OF THIRTY (30) WORKING DAYS PER ANNJM WITH ANY UNUSED PORTION THEREOF TO BE CUMULATIVE; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO PAY M. L. REESE SUCH SUMS THAT ARE DUE AN'D OWING FOR ANY UNUSED PORTION OF SAID VACATION WHICH HAS ACCUMULATED. ',WHEREAS, M. L. REESE was employed as City Manager of the City of Miami by the City Commission upon certain terms and conditions; and WHEREAS, one of the terms and conditions was that M. L. REESE would be entitled to a vacation of, thirty (30) working days per annum; and WHEREAS, said vacation time was to be cumulative for any part unused during the per annum period; NOW, TIEREF ORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAt+ I , FLORIDA: 1 Section 1. It is the finding of this Commission that the terms and conditions of the employment of M. L. REESE as City Manager included a vacation period of thirty (30) working days per annum and that any unused portion thereof was to be cumulative. • 1 That payment for;tho unused portion of vacation :.s to.be computed as follows:' For each year or portion thereo2 in which the vacation is earned shall be predicated'upon the highest salary received for that year, subject to the condition that any vacation then during his entire period of employment shall be first deducted from the vacation time accumulated commencing with the date of his employment.
