A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED ON
FEBRUARY 13, 1974 FOR FURNISHING ONE (1)
HIGH PRESSURE AIR COMPRESSOR AND PURIFICATION
SYSTEM FOR USE BY THE RESCUE UNIT, DEPARTMENT
OF FIRE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
INSTRUCT THE PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE
PURCHASE ORDERS, AS NECESSARY, AFTER FIRST
HAVING DETERMINED THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR
THIS PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE g TOTAL COST $7,475.00
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids were
received on February 13, 1974 for furnishing one (1) High Pressure
Air Compressor and Purification System for use by the Rescue
Unit, Department of Fire; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to twelve (12)
potential suppliers and two 12) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
Innerspace Research be accepted at a total cost of $7,475.00,
since it is the lowest and best responsive bid and further recom-
mends that the award be made to said corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on February 13, 1974
from Innerspace Research for furnishing one (1) High Pressure Air
Compressor and Purification System for use by the Rescue Unit,
Department of Fire at a total cost of $7,475.00 be, and the
same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the Pur-
chasing Division to issue purchase orders, as necessary, after
first having determined that funds budgeted for this purpose
are available.
