A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED ON V
JANUARY 22, 1974 FROM MONROE ZEDER PLYMOUTH
AND NORTHSIDE MOTORS FOR FURNISHING PLYMOUTH
AUTOMOTIVE PARTS ON A CONTRACT BASIS, AS
REQUIRED, FOR ONE (1) YEAR FROM DATE OF AWARD
OF BIDS, FOR USE BY THE MOTOR POOL DIVISION
OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC PROPERTIES AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE
PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS,
AS NECESSARY, AFTER FIRST HAVING DETERMINED
THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS PURPOSE ARE
AVAILABLE AT AN APPROXIMATE ANNUAL COST OF
$60,000.00.

WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received January 22, 1974 for furnishing Plymouth Automotive
Parts on a contract basis, as required, for one (1) year from
date of award of bids, for use by the Motor Pool Division of
the Department of Public Properties; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to seven (7)
potential suppliers and two (2) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bids
of Monroe Zeder Plymouth and Northside Motors for furnishing
Plymouth Automotive Parts on a contract basis, as required, by
the Motor Pool Division of the Department of Public Properties
at an annual cost of $60,000.00 be made to said corporations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bidsreceived on January 22,
1974 from Monroe Zeder Plymouth and Northside Motors for
furnishing Plymouth Automotive Parts on a contract basis for
a period of one (1) year from date of award of bids, for use
by the Motor Pool Division of the Department of Public Properties
be and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the approximate annual cost is
to be $60,000.00 for said contracts to be entered

Section 3. That the City Manager instruct the
Purchasing Division to issue purchase orders, as necessary,
after first having determined that funds budgeted for this
purpose are available.
