A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED t RTiV 4 PM
OF FENCE MASTERS, INC. FOR THE CONSTRf! ''
OF INCINERATOR NO. 1 - FENCING -r 1973;
AUTHORIZING A $254.00 INCREASE IN THE AMOUNT
OF THE CONTRACT: ALLOCATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS
IN THE AMOUNT OF $254.00 FROM THE POLLUTION
CONTROL AND INCINERATOR FACILITIES ACCOUNT;
AND AUTHORIZING FULL AND FINAL PAYMENT TO THE
CONTRACTOR IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $3,197.00.

WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated October 23,
1973 with Fence Masters, I1ic. for the project entitled INCINERATOR
NO. 1 - FENCING - 1973; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has filed with the City a
final bill and all of the necessary paper work certifying that
the work has been satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, during the course of construction a portion of
the fence was damaged by a City truck, requiring extra work on
the part of the contractor to repair same; and
WHEREAS, it was decided to install a wider gate than
originally planned in order to prevent similar damage to the
fence, said gate costing additional money above the contract
estimate; and
WHEREAS, the total overrun of contract amounts to
$254.00 and additional funds are available for allocation from
the Pollution Control and Incinerator Facilities account;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the completed work of Fence Masters,
Inc. for the project entitled INCINERATOR NO. 1 - FENCING - 1973,
be, and the same is hereby accepted at a total contract amount of
$3,197.00, including repairs to the damaged fence and the installa-
tion of a wider gate than originally planned, these items con-
stituting an increase of $254.00 over the original contract amount,
thus making the total contract amount $3,197.

Section 2. That the additional amount of $254.00 be,
and it is hereby, allocated from the account entitled "Pollution
Control and incinerator Facilities" account, in order to provide
the funds needed for the fence repair and the larger gate.
