A RESOLUTION MEAFPIRMING THE CITY COMM/SSION' S
POLICY TO PROCEED AS REQUESTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
WITH DEVELOPMENT OP SEWAGE DISPOSAL FACILITIES ON
VIRGINIA KEY; t<ORTHLtt i uESTING THAT THE MIAMI.
DAI E WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY MAKE EVERY EFFORT
TO SEPARATE THE THREE DISTRICT PLAN FOR SEWAGE
TREATMENT IN DADE COUNTY, THEREBY PERMITTING
IMMEDIATE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE IMPROVEMENTS
PLANS FOR THE CENTRAL DISTRICT SERVING THE CITY
OF MIAMI.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Commission of the City of Miami hereby
reaffirms its policy to proceed as requested as soon as possible with
development of sewage disposal facilities on Virginia Key.
Section 2. The City Commission further requests that the
Miami• Dade Water and Sewer Authority make every effort to separate the
Three District Plan for sewage treatment in Dade County, thereby
permitting immediate implementation of the Improvements Plans for the
Central District serving the City of Miami.
