A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
JANUARY 17, 1974 FROM SANITARY CONTROLS,
INC. FOR FURNISHING THIRTY-TWO (32)
TRASH CONTAINERS FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT
OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND THE FIRE DEPART-
MENT, AT A TOTAL COST OF $6,304.00; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT
THE PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE PURCHASE
ORDERS, AS NECESSARY, AFTER FIRST HAVING
DETERMINED THAT FUNDS BUDGETED FOR THIS
PURPOSE ARE AVAILABLE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Notice, sealed bids
were received January 17, 1974 for furnishing thirty-two
(32) Trash Containers for use by the Department of Parks
and Recreation and for use by the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to ten (10)
potential suppliers and three (3) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid
of Sanitary Controls, Inc. for furnishing thirty-two (32)
Trash Containers, 2 yard; ten (10) for use by the Fire Depart-
ment, which will be placed at various Fire Stations throughout
the City, and twenty-two (22) containers for use by the
Department of Parks and Recreation for various parks through-
out the City, be. accepted at a total cost of $6,304.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on January 17,
1974 of Sanitary Controls, Inc. for furnishing thirty-two (32)
Trash Containers, 2 yard; ten (10) for use by the Fire Depart-
ment and twenty-two (22) for use by the Department of Parks
and Recreation, at a total cost of $6,304.00

Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the
Purchasing Division to issue purchase orders, as necessary,
after first having determined that funds budgeted for this
purpose are available. rr��
