A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BIDS RECEIVED
JANUARY 7, 1974 FROM DE BRA TURF & EQUIP-
MENT FOR ITEMS 2►4,5►8,9,13,16 Aft 18,
.HECTOR TURF & GARDEN, FOR ITEMS 1,3,6,10
AND 15, AND DADELAND FARM & GARDEN SUPPLY,
FOR ITEMSII, LOR FURNISHING MOWING AND
LAWN EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE PARKS AND
RECREATION DEPARTMENT AT A TOTAL COST OF
$32,009.01.
WHEREAS, bids were received by the City Manager and
City Clerk on January 7, 1974 for furnishing Mowing and Lawn
Equipment, for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bids of De
Bra Turf & Equipment for Items 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 13, 16 and 18,
Hector Turf & Garden for Items 1, 3, 6, 10 and 15 and Dadeland
Farm & Garden Supply for Item II, at the unit prices per list
below, are the lowest and best responsive bids and recommends
that said bids be accepted; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to nineteen (19) potential
suppliers and three (3) bids were received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bids of De Bra Turf & Equipment,
Hector Turf & Garden and Dadeland Farm & Garden Supply for furn-
ishing Mowing and Lawn Equipment per items and unit prices listed
below, be and the same are hereby accepted:
