A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ACTION TAKEN BY
THE CITY MANAGER IN THE SUBMISSION OF A FEDERAL
GRANT APPLICATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING
AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT TO INITIATE A PROJECT
ENTITLED, "DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPREHENSIVE
SYSTEM or PROGRAM MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES FOR
THE CITY OF MIAMI" AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE GRANT AND EXECUTE
CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS NECESSARY TO IMPLE-
MENT THE PROJECT UPON RECEIPT OF THE GRANT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the action taken by the City Manager in the
submission of a Federal Grant Application to the Department of
Housing and Urban Development to initiate a project entitled,
"Development of a Comprehensive System of Program Management
Techniques for the City of Miami" is hereby confirmed.
Section 2. That the City Manager is further authorized to
accept the Grant and execute contracts and agreements necessary to
implement the project upon receipt of the Grant.
