'» 4 2 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE an' MANAGER TO Ei CUTE AN AGREE.- MENi' BETWEEN MIAMI PROFESSIONAL SPORTS LTD. , IVIIAMI TOROS SOCCER CLUB AND THE CITY Off' MIAMI FOR THE SCHEDULED USE Or THE ORANGE BOWL STADIUM, A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED AND MADE A PART HEREOF. WHEREAS, the owners of the professional soccer team known as the Ivfiami Thros have requested the Commission of the City of Miami the privilege of using the Orange Bowl Stadium for scheduling professional soccer games between the Miami Toros and other members of the professional soccer leagues in order to present professional soccer to the Miami -Dade County and surround- ing area; and WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami has determined it in the best interest of the electorate to authorize this agreement in order to pro- vide regularly scheduled soccer games; and WHEREAS, the home town of the Miami Toros will be the City of Miami. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement between Miami Professional Sports Ltd., Miami Toros Soccer Club and the City of Miami for the scheduled use of the Orange Bowl Stadium, a copy of which is attached and made a part hereof.
