SPECIAL ° COUNSEL TO THE CITY OF MIAMI i`OB LEGAL SF RR.
VICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE CONDEENATION OF PROPERTY
FOR THE EXPANSION OF WAINWRIGHT PARK.
WHEREAS, the Miami City Commission by Resolution No. 72-813
authorized the necessary legal action to provide additional park
facilities the enlargement of Wainwright Park; and
WHEREAS, the Miami City Commission by Resolution No. 72-232
engaged the services of Howard Hadley, Esq. as special counsel for
such legal services ; and
WHEREAS, a final judgment dated October 31, 1973 was ren-
dered by Judge Thomas A. Testa resulting in the conveyance of said
lands to the City of Miami; and
WHEREAS, the invoice of legal services in connection with the
condemnation bf Wainwright Park has been submitted and approved by
the City Attorney;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the amount of $22,000 is hereby allocated
from 1972 Park and Recreational Bond Funds to pay for fee of special
counsel to the City of Miami for legal services in connection with
the condemnation of property for the expansion of Wainwright Park.
