RESOLUTIbN NO.
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK
TO ADOPT A UNIFORM PETITION FORM RECOM-
MENDED BY THE SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OF
DADE COUNTY TO FACILITATE THE VALIDATION
OF SIGNATURES IN COUNTYWIDE PETITIONS.
WHEREAS, after January 1, 1974, the Supervisor of
Elections has the responsibility of validating signatures
on all petitions circulated within Dade County; and
WHEREAS, at the present time it is difficult to de-
termine signatures due to the lack of uniformity in petitions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the Clerk of the City of Miami be
authorized to adopt the uniform petition form recommended by
the Supervisor of Elections of Dade County, Florida to facilitate
the validation of signatures in countywide petitions.
Section 2. That the Clerk of the City of Miami is
hereby directed to send a copy of this resolution to Joyce V.
Dieffenderfer, Supervisor of Elections, Dade County, Florida.
