A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
73-557 ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION ALLO-
CATING $20,914 TO COVER THE COST OF
INSTALLING MATERIALS FOR THE PROJECT
ENTITLED "CITY -OWNED PARKING LOTS -
LIGHTING - 1973"; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS FOR
CERTAIN WORK; AND AUTHORIZING CITY FORCES
TO PERFORM THE BALANCE OF THE WORK" TO
DELETE THEREFROM THE AWARD OF THE MOORE
PARK PORTION OF THE WORK BY LAVIGNE ELECTRIC
COMPANY FOR $1,382 AND AUTHORIZING SAID IN-
STALLATION TO BE PERFORMED BY CITY FORCES.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 73-557 authorized and directed the
City Manager to issue four purchase orders for the installation of
electrical work at four parks under the title "CITY -OWNED PARKING
LOTS - LIGHTING - 1973" one of which was to LaVigne Electric Company
for the Moore Park portion of the work in the amount of $1,382; and
WHEREAS, due to the lengthy delay in authorizing the work
to be performed, LaVigne Electric Company found it necessary to with-
draw their bid; and
WHEREAS, upon consultation it was found that City Forces can
perform the installation work for the same amount of money.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Resolution No. 73-557 entitled "A RESOLUTION
ALLOCATING $20,914 TO COVER THE COST OF INSTALLING MATERIALS FOR THE
PROJECT ENTITLED "CITY -OWNED PARKING LOTS - LIGHTING - 1973" AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS FOR CERTAIN WORK; AND AUTHOR-
IZING CITY FORCES TO PERFORM THE BALANCE OF THE WORK be, and the same
is hereby amended to delete therefrom the award of electrical install-
ation work at Moore Park by LaVigne Electrical Company.

Section 2. That the use of City Porces to snake the
aforesaid installation at Moore Park be, and it is hereby, approved
at the same price authorized in Resolution No. 73-557 for LaVigne
Electric Company.
