A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE PLAT ENTITLED
JACKSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL TRACT ADDITIONS,
A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY 0' MIAMI, FLORIDA;
AND ACCEPTING THE DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID
PLAT; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE PLAT.
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Board and
the Departmentof Public Works have recommended the acceptance
of the plat entitled JACKSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL TRACT ADDITIONS;
and
WHEREAS, On November 11, 1971, the City Commission
passed and adopted Resolution No. 42995 closing for public use
that portion of N.W. llth Avenue between N.W. 14th Terrace and
JACKSON MEMORIAL TRACT (55-5), N.W. 15th and 16th Streets between
loth and llth Avenues, and the N-S alley in Block 22, less
south 95 feet, HIGHLAND PARK, Plat Book 2, Page 13, in conjunction
with Tentative Plat 787-A designated as JACKSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
TRACT ADDITIONS;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Plat entitled JACKSON MEMORIAL
HOSPITAL TRACT ADDITIONS, being a replat of a portion of SECOND
ADDITION TO SUNNYBROOK (P.B. 43, Pg.38), all of THIRD ADDITION
TO SUNNYBROOK (P.B. 43, Pg. 72), portion of JACKSON MEMORIAL
HOSPITAL TRACT (P.B. 55, Pg. 5), portion of HIGHLAND PARK
(P.B. 2, Pg. 13) and portion of the N.E. 14 of Section 35,
Township 53 South, Range 41 East, City of Miami, Dade County,
Florida, which by reference is made a part hereof as if fully
incorporated herein and the dedications as shown thereon
together with all existing and future plantings, trees and
shrubbery on said property, to the perpetual use of the public
be, and the same are, hereby accepted and confirmed by the City
of Miami, Florida.
Section 2. Except for the construction of those
5 improvements provided for in the Agreement entered into
6 between Dade County and the City of Miami, Florida, dated
7 September 26, 1973, the requirements of Chapter 54, Section
8 54-20, Code of the City of Miami, Florida and State law as to
9 improvements to be made in subdivisions will hereby expressly
10 be waived.
11 Section 3. That the requirement of Section 2-85(a)(4)
12 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida concerning the fee of
13 $150.00 for the processing of the final plat is hereby expressly
14 waived.
15 Section 4. That the requirements of Chapter 54,
16 Section 54-20, of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida and
17 State law concerning the posting of a Performance Bond to
18 guarantee the construction of subdivision improvement is hereby
19 expressly waived.
20 Section 5. Of all other requirements of State law
21 concerning the posting of a Performance Bond for the construction
22 of improvements, that portion pertaining to the maintenance of
23 said improvements is hereby expressly waived.
24 Section 6. The requirements of State law concerning
25 the showing of grades of rights -of -way on the Plat are hereby
26 expressly waived.
27 Section 7. The City Manager and the City Clerk,
28 both of the City of Miami, Florida, are hereby authorized and
29 directed to execute the Plat.
