A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE $4,000,000 • yz
POLICE HEADQUARTERS AND CRIME PREVENTION
FACILITIES BONDS AND THE $2,000,000 STORM
SEWER IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA; AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 41761 AND
RESOLUTION NO. 42483 OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BY
AMENDING SECTION 4 OF BOTH SAID RESOLUTIONS;
PROVIDING THAT ALL OF SAID BONDS SHALL BEAR
THE FACSIMILE SIGNATURE OF OR BE SIGNED BY
THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, PROVIDED
THAT EACH OF SUCH BONDS SHALL BE MUTUALLY
SIGNED BY ONE OF SAID OFFICERS; PROVIDING
FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE FORM OF BONDS.
WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami (here-
inafter sometimes called the "City Commission!) on the 23rd day of
July, 1970 duly passed and adopted the following resolution pro-
viding for the issuance of bonds of the City of Miami (hereinafter
sometimes called the "City"):
Resolution No. 41761 providing for the issuance of
not exceeding $20,000,000 Police Headquarters and
Crime Prevention Facilities Bonds to consist of
4,000 bonds of the denomination of $5,000 each,
said bonds to be issued at one time or from time
to time and to be dated and sold as hereafter
provided by resolution or resolutions of the City
Commission, and to mature as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Comfltissiott on the filth day of May,
19'/1 duly passed and adopted the following resolution providing
for the issuance of bonds of the City:
Resolution No. 42483 providing for the issuance of
not exceeding $10,000,000 Storm Sewer Improvement to
consist of 2,000 bonds of the denomination of $5,000
each, said bonds to be issued at one time or from
time to time and to be dated and sold as hereafter
provided by resolution or resolutions of the City
Commission,and to mature as follows:

WHEREAS, said Resolutions provide that the bonds'=tihermin
authorized shall be signed by the Mayor of the City of Miami by
his facsimile signature and by the City Clerk, but it odrrently
is impossible to determine which of such officers will be avail-
able to manually sign said bonds at the delivery thereof; now,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the first sentence of Section 4 of said
Resolution No. 41761 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 4. Said Police Headquarters and Crime Prevention
Facilities Bonds shall bear the facsimile signature of or be signed
by°the Mayor of the City of Miami and shall bear the facsimile

signattre of of be signed by the City Clerk of the City of
Miami, and a facsimile of the seal of the City shall be im-
printed on the bonds, provided that each of Such bonds shall
be manually signed by one of said officers. * * *"
Section 2. That the witnessing clause in the
band form as provided in Section 4 of Resolution No. 41761 is here-
by amended to read as follows:
"IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The City of Miami has caused
this bond to be signed by its Mayor and attested by its City
Clerk, either manually or with their facsimile signatures, and
a facsimile of its seal to be imprinted hereon, and the interest
coupons attached hereto to be executed with the facsimile signa-
ture of said City Clerk, all as of the 1st day of

Section 3. The first sentence of Section 4 of said
Resolution No. 42483 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 4. Said Police Headquarters and Crime
Prevention Facilities Bonds shall bear the facsimile signature
of or be signed by the City Clerk of the City of Miami, and a
facsimile of the seal of the City shall be imprinted on the
bonds, provided that each of such bonds shall be manually signed
by one of said officers. * * *"
Section 4. Thatwthe witnessing clause in the bond
form as provided in Section 4 of Resolution No. 42483 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"IN WITNESS WHEREOF, The City of Miami has caused
this bond to be signed by its Mayor and attested by its City Clerk,
either manually or with their facsimile signatures, and a facsimile
of its seal to be imprinted hereon, and the interest coupons
attached hereto to be executed with the facsimile signature of

Section 5. That this resolution shall be in
full force and effect immediately upon its passage.
