RESOLUTION NO. 73/40 f700
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID RECEIVED
DECEMBER 10, 1973 FROM LEE OFFSET COMPANY
FOR FURNISHING 8,000 POUR (4) COLOR POSTERS,
FOR USE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLICITY AND
TOURISM, AT A TOTAL COST OF $3,174.00; AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INSTRUCT THE
PURCHASING DIVISION TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER
THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public notice, sealed bids were
received December 10, 1973 for furnishing 8,000 Four (4) Color
Posters, for use by the Department of Publicity and Tourism; and
WHEREAS, invitations were mailed to eighteen (18)
potential suppliers and four (4) bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the bid of
LEE OFFSET COMPANY for furnishing 8,000 Four (4) Color Posters,
be accepted at a total cost of $3,174.00, since it is the lowest
and best responsive bid and further recommends that the award be
made to said corporation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the bid received on December 10, 1973
of- LEE OFFSET COMPANY for furnishing 8,000 Four (4) Color Postersk
for use by the Department of Publicity and Tourism, at a total cost
of $3,174.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager instruct the Purchasing
Division to issue a purchase order therefor.
