RESOLUTION NO. „ +i P 9/
A RESOLUTION WAIVING ALL FEES AT THE
DINNER KEY AUDITORIUM ON MARCH 6, 7,
8 and 9, 1974 FOR THE PURPOSE OF CON-
DUCTING THE 1974 FLORIDA GOLDEN GLOVES
TOURNAMENT.
WHEREAS, the 1974 Florida Golden Gloves Tournament
has been scheduled for Wednesday through Saturday, March 6, 7,
8 and 9, 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Gym, located at the Coast
Guard property, used to host last year's tournament from around
the state, proved too small in regard to seating capacity, park-
ing and dressing room facilities; and
WHEREAS, the 1974 tournament will have even greater
participation as several foreign teams are entered in the com-
petition, including Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Nassau; and
WHEREAS, this tournament is being hosted by the
Department of Parks and Recreation and the Florida Golden Gloves
Alumni Association.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OP MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the City Commission pass a resolution
waiving all fees at the DINNER KEY AUDITORIUM in conjunction with
1974 Florida Golden Gloves Tournament.
