A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE SYMPATHY
OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI IN THE UNTIMELY
DEATH OF CUBAN AMERICAN EXILE LEADER
DR. MANUEL GIBERGA Y ANGULO, AND
EXTENDING SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO THE
MEMBERS OF HIS FAMILY
WHEREAS, Cuban American Exile Leader DR. MANUEL GIBERGA Y ANGULO
a nationwide well known champion advocate and "Ambassador Ad Honorem"
in Washington, D. C. of the Cuban and Spanish speaking colonies and minority
groups, Dr. Giberga headed and participated in many Federal and Regional
relief and social betterment projects, that contributed to the improvement and
assimilation of Professional, Labor and Civic minorities into the life -stream
of their respective areas, both in Miami. and throughout the nation; and
WHEREAS: Dr. Manuel Giberga y Angulo, died in the city of Washington, D. C.
of a sudden heart attack in the very prime of his life, thus prematurely
terminating an active and productive existence, which was a living
inspiration to all his followers;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
That the Mayor and City Commissioners of the City of Miami, hereby express
their sympathy in the sudden death of the Cuban American Exile Leader
DR. MANUEL GIBERGA Y ANGULO, and extend their sincere condolences
to the members of his family.
